Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is urging US millennials to “boycott the racist Mideast state Corona.” The call comes right when New York just became the corona epicenter in the US.
AOC spoke to The Mideast Beast about her important message to young progressive Americans. “Well, you know, if you are smart like me, you must boycott weed and beer from the virulently oppressive Mideast state Corona, which threatens world peace, climate change, and Milton Keynes’ influential vision of a stable economic order.
Ocasio-Cortez admitted that her knowledge of Corona is limited. “Honestly, I never knew Corona was a country, like Israel. Yeah so, my, like, totally smart geography advisor informed me that Corona is a virulent desert shithole, somewhere in the Mideast…or is it Midwest? I’ve got a terrible sense of direction.”
She criticized President Trump’s toddler-level mismanagement of the Corona threat. “You know, America is facing its worst crisis since the price of a Big Mac went up 10 cents. Our nation needs young, smart and responsible leaders like me. Because let’s face it, Congresspeople are ‘not smarter than a bartender’.
AOC stressed that young New Yorkers cannot afford being ignorant about the outside world.
“Hello people! Educate yourself and don’t be a narrow-minded racist. There are actually other countries outside Manhattan, such as the Bronx and Brooklyn. Thanks to Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, I’ve become an expert on the “Occupied Holland of the Mideast”. And thanks to Cuba’s Bernie-sponsored literacy program, I am totally fluent in Spanglish. You know, this pandemic is like an excellent opportunity to learn about a mysterious country with a virulent global reach that eclipses America.”
