Scientists Baffled by Coronavirus Cases in Countries without 5G

In a finding that has stunned epidemiologists and upended medical consensus, researchers have now discovered cases of COVID-19 infection in nations without 5G development.

Leading researchers have long believed that the novel coronavirus is caused by waves emitted from 5G cell towers. But in Iran, where there is no 5G infrastructure, satellite images have shown mass graves dug to bury COVID-19 victims.

“At first we figured Bill Gates must have brought it to Iran from a country with extra 5G,” Dr. Marc Lipsitch, a leading epidemiologist, told The Mideast Beast. “But there is no record of Bill Gates traveling to Iran since the outbreak of the virus. If it’s not Bill Gates or 5G, then we have no idea where this coronavirus comes from.”

Leaders across the Middle East, however, say they are not taking their chances. While developing nations have received billions in aid for 5G infrastructure to provide internet to their citizens, several leaders now say they will instead spend this money on safer projects.

“I was really looking forward to spending all of this 5G aid money we received for its intended purpose, but I can’t risk giving Egyptians the coronavirus,” Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi said. “I guess I’ll have to use it to build myself a new palace instead.”
